Marysville Getchell High School

Service Projects
Everybody needs a little someone! Marysville Getchell High School engages in small to medium size gatherings with fellow proximal clubs such as Mount Vernon, Lake Stevens, and others. In these gatherings we get to bond with close-yet-so-far clubs and make arts and crafts like postcards and greetings. Even though these actions and objects are small, the chance to make an impact can be big!

Bracelets for KCCP
From October to December, MGHS Key Club made a total of 178 friendship bracelets for the kids in Seattle Children's Hospital! After two months of bracelet making parties and members taking string home, we managed to beat our previous year's donation amount by 100 bracelets (that's more than double!).

Halloween Cards
Our first District Convention Meeting as D20m started on a spooky note! In October, Marysville Getchell joined forces with Mount Vernon to make and give Halloween Cards to the Seattle Children's Hospital. With markers, paper, and a little bit of creativity, we managed to make dozens of cards in hopes of making some kid's day on Halloween.

Dog Toys
The first DCM hosted by Marysville Getchell Key Club, featuring their sister Key Club Mount Vernon. As winter approached these Key Clubbers gathered together in December for a Christmas themed celebration! Here they created dog toys made from old t-shirts for the Humane Society of Skagit Valley shelter.
